Quarter 4, 2008

Libstar concludes the acquisitions of an 88.5% interest in Lancewood, and Tea Blenders.

South Point completes a further issue of equity capital in December 2008.

Elementum acquires 42.5% of ICR Electrical, with an option to acquire up to 60% over the next 4 years.

During October 2008 the Funds acquire 129 675 York shares on the open market.

Quarter 3, 2008

The Funds make an initial investment for a 30% shareholding in Surgical Innovations in August 2008. The Funds are also issued with a call option for a further 7.5% stake on the same pricing as the initial investment.

During September 2008 the Funds acquire 158 900 York shares on the open market.

Quarter 2, 2008

The Funds acquire 9.3 million York shares on the open market between April and June 2008.

The Funds build up a significant minority position in Astrapak Ltd, a leading converter of rigid, film and flexible plastic packaging. The Funds’ initial position is 27.4% and represents Astrapak’s largest shareholder. Paul Botha is appointed to the board of Astrapak.

Quarter 1, 2008

LMCGF acquires an additional 38 million shares as part of Vox’s capital raising to finance its acquisition of Storm Telecom and Absa Internet Access.

During January 2008 the Funds acquire a further effective 8.4% in South Point.

Libstar completes the acquisition of 70% of Finlar Foods.
